The Armoza Formats dating show Queens of Love is set for a local version in Spain, where the production company Mediacrest has acquired the rights.

In Queens of Love, three fabulous queens will come to the rescue of a single who has been unlucky in love. Using the power of their personalities, the mentors take the single on a night out, where they audition four potential suitors. After each date, the queens analyze, discuss and critique the suitor in an attempt to find “Mr. Right,” deciding at the end of the night which man is the best fit.

Josetxu Palenzuela, chief content officer and head of international business at Mediacrest, said: “Queens of Love is the perfect program for the Spanish market given the growing trend of drag queens on television around the world. Through some fascinating characters that will delight all viewers, the series offers both entertainment and comedy, making it a visual enjoyment for any channel. With Mediacrest’s strong experience in the dating genre and formats with strong and funny characters, we are excited to be bringing this fresh format to Spain.”

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, added: “Queens of Love offers a fresh and stand-out take on the popular dating genre by introducing the best advisors for troubled singles—three outrageous drag queens—as they journey to find their perfect match. With their insights into both worlds, these queens offer the truest and most authentic understanding of the world of dating and we are thrilled that Mediacrest has taken this hilarious show for Spain.”
