Armoza Formats is bringing a slate of new formats and Israeli scripted series to MIPTV this year, including dramas Muna and Red Lines.

Produced by Drama Team and aired on Israel’s Kan, Muna tells the story of the titular character, an Arab-Israeli photographer who must choose between her Arab roots and new life in Tel Aviv. Red Lines, meanwhile, is a legal thriller from Israel’s Kan and Tedy Productions that takes viewers into the complex world of the District Attorney’s office.

Muna and Red Lines are the perfect examples of universally relatable and engaging stories,” says Amos Neumann, COO of Armoza Formats. “With their unique takes and compelling plots, the series have been acclaimed by the Israeli press and viewers.”

Also available from Armoza is comedy My Life in 60 Seconds, which stars real-life comedian Zvika Hadar playing a fictional comedian who has lost his job hosting a prime-time show and must now figure out a way to feed his seven kids. The story is told through 60-second scenes, which will cut at the moment the timer goes off, no matter the circumstance.

The social experiment The Conflict, another of Armoza’s MIPTV offerings, gives individuals the chance to see their dispute from a new point of view, as actors bring to life arguments and those involved watch from the sidelines. The format is being licensed as 60-minute episodes. Factual-entertainment series Mind Blowing goes inside the mind of mentalist Nimrod Harel, using special camera glasses to show illusions from his perspective and reveal to viewers his techniques.

Neumann adds: “MIPTV continues to be an important market for us to maintain relationships with our clients as well as to stay on the ‘pulse’ of the industry.”
