Indonesia’s AnTV has remade The Heiress, a hit afternoon series on the Philippine TV network ABS-CBN.

Titled Putri Mahkota, the Indonesian version of the program debuted on January 5 and airs daily at 7:30 p.m. on AnTV. The Heiress is the first Philippine drama to be adapted by the network. It was acquired by Myanmar’s Sky Net in 2019.

The Heiress is about an intense dispute between the women of a prominent family, whose patriarch marries a woman whose ex is married to his daughter Daniela. After both couples welcome a child, painful secrets from the past are revealed and ruthless confrontations ensue.

Wincess Gonzalez, ABS-CBN International Distribution Asia sales head, said: “We’re excited for Indonesian viewers to welcome into their homes every night the story of The Heiress. This groundbreaking achievement will continue to inspire ABS-CBN to roll out narrative formats that foreign audiences will love.”
