Armoza Formats has confirmed a new Arabic adaptation of the game show Who’s Asking? for Israel.

Marking the tenth adaptation of the format worldwide, the first Arabic version of Who’s Asking? will launch later this year on Makan, the Arab-language public broadcaster. It is being produced by United Studios of Israel.

Who’s Asking? has previously launched in such markets as Switzerland, Greece, Thailand, Hungary and the U.S. Hispanic. The original version of the format aired in Hebrew in Israel on Channel 10.

Created by Igal Shilon, Harel Josefson, Guy Wasserman and United Studios of Israel, Who’s Asking? sees two pairs of contestants select an “asker” from the faces on the screen in front of them. It could be the bus driver, your doctor or a streetwise grandma, each of which has a question for the contestants.

Amos Neumann, COO at Armoza Formats, said: “Who’s Asking? is the ultimate game show that has the winning combination of thrill, knowledge and a wide range of viewers. After more than 1,500 episodes worldwide, we are thrilled to kick off the 10th version of the format in Arabic, which shows how well this format can travel.”
