Who’s Who? Returning to Sweden’s SVT

STOCKHOLM: The seventh season of KABO International’s entertainment game-show format Who’s Who? is slated to begin airing on SVT in Sweden next month.

Licensed by Rose Bay Media, Who’s Who? looks on as contestants try to identify the jobs, hobbies or talents of six different strangers. The Swedish version, locally titled Upp till bevis, is produced by Nordist Film TV AB. Six 58-minute episodes of the new season will premiere on SVT on April 7 at 8 p.m.

Anders G Carlsson, executive producer for Who’s Who? at SVT, said: “We first aired Who’s Who? from 1998 to 2003 with solid results, and then relaunched it again in 2016 as part of the global trend to bring back great formats from the past. This has really paid off as our ratings testify, and we look forward to showcasing this new upcoming season.”

Arabelle Pouliot-Di Crescenzo, the managing director of KABO International, noted: “We are thrilled Who’s Who? is starting its seventh season on SVT, which highlights the fact that it is one of those evergreen formats that keeps drawing in audiences. Our aim is to provide formats with proven track records or innovative concepts, and this format definitely offers premium viewing.”

KABO International also secured option deals for the Who’s Who? format in Spain and Denmark.
