Endemol Shine’s Hunted Renewed in Europe


AMSTERDAM/LONDON: Endemol Shine Group’s factual thriller Hunted has been commissioned for additional seasons in the U.K. and the Netherlands.

Created and produced by Shine TV, Hunted was ordered for a third season by Channel 4 in the U.K. The sophomore season of Hunted, which aired in the U.K. last year, consistently outperformed its 9 p.m. slot average each week.

In addition, Simpel Media, part of Endemol Shine Netherlands, inked a deal with NPO for a second season in the Netherlands. The agreement follows on the heels of the show’s rollout in the Netherlands last year, when it became NPO3’s highest-rated non-scripted launch of 2016.

Production on the new seasons is currently underway in the Netherlands and the U.K.
