Dori Media’s The Auction to Debut on América Televisión

Dori Media Group and Abot Hameiri’s new game show The Auction is set to bow on América Televisión in Peru as La Subasta on July 20.

The format pits two teams of five family members against each other. Each team is given an equal budget with the aim of acquiring prizes with the highest value, all while trying to reach the final and win the grand prize.

The Auction is owned by Abot Hameiri and Dori Media in collaboration with América Televisión, Kapow and Open Kimono. It is produced in Perú by America Estudios.

“We are thrilled that our collaboration with Abot Hameiri and partners América Televisión, Kapow and Open Kimono on The Auction is set to take flight this weekend in Peru in prime time, marking the first territory to broadcast this exciting new game show format,” said Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media. “The Auction has all the elements of a classic game show in an auction setting, and we can’t wait to share this first edition with buyers across the globe.”

Roee Strikovski, CEO of Abot Hameiri, added, “The Auction is a format that blends intuition and strategy—no prior knowledge required—all wrapped in the most entertaining, addictive experience. It’s a cost-effective game show that fits any market and speaks to every audience, with true global potential.”
