100 Choices Lands Thai Adaptation

Sony Pictures Television has entered into an option agreement with Thailand’s TV Thunder and Columbia Pictures’ Aquaverse, a Columbia Pictures-themed waterpark in the Asian country, to develop a Thai adaptation of 100 Choices.

Aquaverse, located in Bangsaray about 90 minutes from Bangkok, will serve as the home of the production, providing its waterpark venue as the core setting for the show. TV Thunder will adapt and produce the local version of the format, customizing it specifically for a large-scale waterpark environment.

In the format, a group of contestants are faced with one question with 100 possible answers. If they can answer correctly, they will win a large cash prize. The question will be nearly impossible to answer, so the contestants will take on five physical challenges that will allow them to eliminate some of the 100 potential answers based on their performance.

100 Choices is based on a format created by Tokyo-based FANY Studio. It was picked up by Sony Pictures Television after it was showcased at ATF in 2023.
