TVE Joins Imira, Enne Co-Pro

BARCELONA: Spanish broadcaster TVE is joining Imira Entertainment and Enne Entertainment Studios as a co-production partner on the new 3-D series Escape Hockey.

The shows is being represented worldwide by Imira, will will be seeking presales and further co-production partners at MIPCOM. Created by Enne Entertainment, the 26×26-minute show for kids 6 to 12 tells the story of Dan, who is abducted and taken with his friends to a prison planet named Plutonium. The only way for him to go back home is to win the Escape Hockey Tournament. The series will be produced in two versions, a standard television series and an interactive version that allows the viewer to play mini games while watching the show.

“TVE is still looking for quality formats for its KTT programming and the proof of that is the decision to engage in the co-production of 3D animation series, Escape Hockey,” said José Juan Ruiz Sánchez, TVE KTT programs director. “It’s a project that meets with the TVE editorial line, because of its quality level, its content and its innovation. Escape Hockey will entertain and stimulate kids but also help us to maintain one of our priority aims: to provide a programming model that is secure and trustworthy for parents and educators."
