Global Screen has sold the rights to Zenith: A Supercharged Family to ARTE, which will premiere the youth series in Germany and France in spring 2019.

The sci-fi adventure show features two tech-savvy siblings who, upon realizing their parents have been replaced with robot versions of themselves, hack into their “roboparents” and realize they can make them do whatever they want. The 7×25-minute series is produced in the Netherlands by Lemming Film (The Lobster, Zama, Heirs of the Night).

“We are delighted to announce that this outstanding youth series was picked up by ARTE,” said Alexandra Heidrich, head of TV sales and acquisitions at Global Screen, “As this channel is known for the high quality of its program and airs directly to two key territories—Germany and France.”

Producer Fleur Winters of Lemming Film added, “We are very pleased that our partner Global Screen managed to sell the show to the quality channel ARTE. It is a perfect platform for this qualitative and daring youth series and a well-deserved recognition for the strong creative team of the show.”
