Your Honor Co-Creator Ron Ninio Sets New Espionage Drama

Ron Ninio, director, showrunner and co-creator of the hit Israeli series Your Honor (Kvodo), has set his next series: The Clinic.

Ninio has teamed up with Amir Oren and Sharon Bar-Ziv to write the new espionage drama thriller. Reshet 13 is on board.

Based on real characters and events, The Clinic tells the story of Dr. Steven Neuman, one of New York’s top surgeons, a doctor by day and assassin by night. Having served in the Israeli Navy commando, he completed his medical degree in Jerusalem before returning to the U.S. to run a prestigious practice. When the Mossad and FBI catch a plot to overthrow the U.S. government, they send Dr. Neuman, who uses his medical expertise to kill.

Ninio is aiming for an American-Israeli co-production.

Ninio said: “Dr. Steven Neuman has a constant conflict between his doctor’s oath to save peoples’ lives and his job at the Mossad, which in many cases means killing people. Healer/killer is a hell of a conflict.”
