Wildling Pictures is set to adapt the best-selling psychological thriller Woman on the Edge, written by Samantha M. Bailey, with Little Mama Media.

In the novel, Morgan Kincaid’s life is changed in an instant when a stranger places her baby in her arms and then jumps in front of an oncoming train. When Kincaid is taken in for questioning, she learns that the woman who jumped was the prominent CEO of an athletic brand and that no witness can corroborate her version of events.

In order to prove her innocence, Kincaid must retrace the last days of the woman’s life and determine whether she was a new mother struggling with paranoia or if she was really in danger.

Woman on the Edge has been sold in 11 countries and spent 22 weeks as a Canadian best-seller. It was one of the top ten best-selling Canadian fiction books of 2020.

“The appeal and potential to develop Woman on the Edge into a TV series is undeniable,” said Natalie Urquhart, development executive at Wildling Pictures. “Samantha M.
