Walter Presents Picks Up Pair of Russian Dramas

Walter Presents has inked a new deal for the dramas Gold Diggers and A Good Man, produced by Russia’s START, a Yellow, Black and White Group (YBW) platform.

Oble, which acquired the exclusive global tape and format distribution rights of the original three seasons of Gold Diggers as well as the nine-part drama A Good Man, sold the series to Walter Presents in both Australia and New Zealand. The series will become available exclusively on Walter Presents via the Australian streaming platform Stan and on TVNZ On Demand in New Zealand. CJ ENM in South Korea has also acquired Gold Diggers, giving the series its Asian debut.

Created by Konstantin Bogomolov, Gold Diggers is centered on the high-stakes relationships between money, power and sex. The psychological drama A Good Man, meanwhile, follows a young policewoman who is brought in to investigate the increasing number of unsolved murders of young women in the local area.
