Walter Presents, HBO Europe Board Bad Banks

Federation Entertainment has firmed up a number of deals on the Machiavellian thriller Bad Banks, set in the world of international finance and the stock market.

HBO Europe picked up the 6×1-hour series for all territories in Central Europe and Scandinavia. Walter Presents is bringing the title to the U.K., while RTÉ has taken the series for Ireland. Sundance TV Iberia is on board for Spain and Portugal, and RTP in Portugal also scooped up the rights. Additionally, Bad Banks has been acquired by SBS in Australia and Rialto in New Zealand.

The series is produced by Letterbox Filmproduktion (Germany) and Iris Production (Luxembourg) with the participation of ZDF and ARTE.
