Viu Philippines Picks Up Another GMA Network Slate

A fresh selection of GMA Network’s programs is set to land on Viu Philippines on September 30, adding to the growing list of Kapuso titles available on the streaming platform.

The new deal includes Kara Mia, a high-concept fantasy series that stars Barbie Forteza and Mika Dela Cruz. The title is based on a true story and an urban legend, where two sisters are born with a congenital defect that gives them two faces but only one body to share.

Also on the slate is Magkaagaw, a story that explores how malevolence from a past love can turn a legal wife into a mistress; One of the Baes, which follows a young woman bent on making waves to achieve her dream of becoming a ship captain; Madrasta, in which a young, optimistic nurse and responsible daughter gets swindled by an illegal recruiter when she tries her luck abroad; and Beautiful Justice, which explores how far one is willing to go in the name of justice.

Besides the new roster of programs, GMA Network shows previously added to Viu include I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, Legal Wives, Artikulo 247, Return to Paradise, Nagbabagang Luha (Flame of Love), The Fake Life and many more.
