VIS Preps Paramount+ Original Cecilia

ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS), a division of ViacomCBS, has commenced production on the dramedy Cecilia, which is part of the portfolio of original content developed for Paramount+.

The series tells the story of a woman whose world seemingly crumbles when she suffers a stroke, but who turns it into an opportunity to reunite her family and rebuild her life. Created by writer and director Daniel Burman, Cecilia is directed by Ihtzi Hurtado and is executive produced by Inna Payán.

Mariana Treviño (Club de Cuervos, Narcos: México, 100 Días Para Enamorarnos) stars in Cecilia alongside Erik Hayser, Michel Brown and Martín Altomaro. The cast also includes Marimar Vega, César Bono, Lumi Cavazos, Ignacio Riva Palacio, Mariana Zaragoza, Leo Deluglio, Eligio Meléndez, Raquel Garza, Mónica Ayos, Natalia Coronado and Aminta Ireta.
