Video Interview with Heroes Reborn’s Tim Kring

NEW YORK: Tim Kring, the creator of the NBC miniseries Heroes Reborn, talks to TV Drama about the new show and today’s different viewing habits and media landscape.

 

Tim Kring had worked as a writer on several prime-time dramas, including Chicago Hope, Providence and Crossing Jordan, before creating Heroes. The NBC series premiered in 2006 and for four seasons featured ordinary people who discovered they had superpowers and tried to save the world from various threats. Heroes became a huge hit in the U.S. and around the world, developing a loyal base of internet-savvy fans that just couldn’t get enough of the story or the characters. Kring became one of the pioneers of multiplatform storytelling. NBC recently brought the show back as Heroes Reborn. Kring also created the series Touch for FOX and, with Gideon Raff, Dig for USA.
