Acorn TV’s Under the Vines has been commissioned for a third season, which has already begun production in New Zealand.

With Rebecca Gibney (Wanted, Packed to the Rafters) and Charles Edwards (Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Crown) returning, season three takes place six months after the end of season two. In order to regain their standing as the sole heirs of Oakley, Daisy and Louis must work together to try and oust William in any way they can.

In addition to Gibney and Edwards, season three will see the return of Sarah Peirse, John Bach, Trae Te Wiki and Simon Mead. Episodes one through three are being directed by Erin White, with episodes four through six directed by Laurence Wilson. The season is written by Kelly Lefever, Erin White, Nick Ward, Kathryn Burnett, Harry McNaughton and Steph Matuku.

Under the Vines is executive produced by Gibney, Richard Fletcher for Libertine Pictures and Brendan Dahill for Perpetual Entertainment (formerly known as EQ Media Group). Acorn Media Enterprises, Acorn TV’s London-based development division, co-produces.
