TV Drama Festival to Feature Viaplay Group’s Filippa Wallestam

Filippa Wallestam, executive VP and chief content officer at Viaplay Group, is among the speakers for the TV Drama Festival, which you can register for here.

Viaplay Group has positioned itself as “the international streaming challenger.” Prior to taking on her role as executive VP and chief content officer in October 2019, Wallestam held such positions as CEO of the company’s Swedish operations and head of strategy for free TV and radio in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. She joined the company in 2014.

Running from June 28 to 29, the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free.

Wallestam joins previously announced speakers Howard Gordon, Robert and Michelle King, Juan José Campanella, Neil Dudgeon, Lionsgate’s Sandra Stern, Banijay’s Lars Blomgren and Kudos’ Karen Wilson. Look for more announcements about key speakers and panels taking place during the TV Drama Festival.
