TV Drama Festival Adds Fremantle’s Christian Vesper

Christian Vesper, CEO of global drama at Fremantle, has been added to the speaker roster for the TV Drama Festival, taking place October 3 to 5. You can register here for free.

Vesper’s role sees him build on Fremantle’s portfolio of scripted drama, films and dailies throughout the world, with direct oversight of the company’s founder-led scripted labels, including Miso Film, Wildside, The Apartment, Euston Films and Element Pictures. He oversees Fremantle’s roster of talent partnerships and deals, which includes Chernobyl director Johan Renck and Michael Parets’s newly launched production company Sinestra, Michael Winterbottom’s Revolution Films, Afua Hirsch’s Born In Me Productions and The Creatives, Fremantle’s three-year partnership agreement with a creative alliance of nine leading independent production companies.

The second edition of the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free. World Screen’s festivals have an average of 1,700 registered participants and approximately 18,000 views.
