Turkish Drama Mother Notches Up Global Deals

Global Agency has signed agreements in more than 15 countries for the Turkish drama Mother.

Produced by Med Yapim and MF Yapim, Mother sold into such markets as Croatia, Macedonia, Greece, Georgia, Indonesia, Iraq and Iran. Global Agency also licensed the drama, which in Turkey airs on Star TV, to broadcasters in Uruguay, Chile, Serbia, Mexico, Bulgaria, Romania, Argentina, Colombia and Puerto Rico.

Negotiations are said to be in the final stages in a range of territories, among them Poland, Greece, Africa, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Israel, Kazakhstan, MENA, Nicaragua, Peru, Russia, Ukraine and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Mother is based on a Japanese drama from Nippon TV.
