TNT Lines Up New Dramas Good Behavior & Animal Kingdom

ATLANTA: TNT has added two new dramas to its 2016 schedule: the thriller Good Behavior, starring Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery, and Animal Kingdom.

Good Behavior in an adaptation of the Letty Dobesh novels by Wayward Pines author Blake Crouch. It stars Dockery as a thief and con artist who sets out to derail a hit man’s latest assignment. The show is produced by Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between ITV Studios and Marty Adelstein.

Additionally, TNT is debuting next year Animal Kingdom, featuring Ellen Barkin as the matriarch of a family whose excessive lifestyle is fueled by their criminal activities. The drama is inspired by the 2010 Australian film of the same name. It comes from John Wells Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television.

TNT ordered ten episodes of both series.

Good Behavior and Animal Kingdom are muscular, distinct dramas that will define the new direction of TNT,” said Sarah Aubrey, the executive VP of original programming for TNT. “We believe audiences will love watching Michelle Dockery trade in her manners for the life of a sexy, complex ex-con in Good Behavior and Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman command an unruly family of criminals and adrenaline junkies in Animal Kingdom.”
