THEMA América Bringing K-Dramas to U.S. & LatAm

THEMA América is set to debut three Korean series in the U.S. and Latin America in June.

Not Others (¡Por favor mamá!), Unlock My Boss (El misterio de mi jefe) and The Battle for Happiness (Madres felices y fatales) are available in English and neutral Spanish. The series are from Studio Genie (Extraordinary Attorney Woo/Netflix).

The move is a result of an agreement between THEMA América and Studio Genie, which includes the representation and distribution of a catalog of some 18 original-language series.

“We are very pleased to continue promoting Korean content with production companies like Studio Genie, one of the leading studios in Korea,” said Francheska León de la Barra, VP of marketing and communications at THEMA América. “There is no doubt that the creative cocktail offered by the various Korean productions is increasingly captivating audiences in Latin America and the U.S.; hundreds of viewers are following and searching for Korean stories on different platforms and windows.”
