The Runner Set to Return

N5 Pictures has commenced production for the second season of its hit web series The Runner.

The first season of The Runner was produced with support from the Bell Fund, while Ontario Creates and the Canada Media Fund have boarded to help fund season two. As a result of a partnership with IndieStream, the upcoming season will launch on major OTT platforms such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and more.

Ant Horasanli (Petrol) has returned to direct. With a 95 percent BIPOC cast and crew, The Runner continues its commitment to diversity. The production team includes Rangga Kusmalendra, director of photography; Maria Helena, art director; and Aaron Owens, production manager.
