The Royals, Weeds Head to Canada’s Super Channel Fuse

Super Channel will be the exclusive Canadian home for Lionsgate Television’s The Royals and Weeds.

Super Channel has lined up a four-episode premiere for The Royals on July 1 at 8 p.m. on Super Channel Fuse. Two episodes will then air weekly on Thursdays beginning at 8 p.m. All episodes from all four seasons will be available for viewers beginning July 2 on Super Channel On Demand.

Starting August 3 at 9 p.m., four half-hour episodes of Weeds will air on Tuesdays each week on the linear schedule, with all episodes from all eight seasons of the series available on Super Channel On Demand as of August 4.

“We brought the entire Mad Men series to our subscribers last summer and we are continuing with this strategy of adding highly entertaining bingeable library content to our programming lineup,” said Jackie Pardy, chief content officer. “Whether viewers are discovering them for the first time or experiencing them all over again, The Royals and Weeds are the perfect summer binge.”
