TORONTO/LOS ANGELES: Hulu has landed a deal with Entertainment One (eOne) for the exclusive U.S. streaming rights for the three-part supernatural drama The Enfield Haunting.

The drama is based on real events that took place during the fall of 1977. It is adapted from Guy Lyon Playfair's book This House Is Haunted and draws on documentation, recordings and witness statements from the time. Sky Living in the U.K. originally commissioned the series, which debuted in May to a record audience. eOne also licensed the show to A&E in the U.S. and shomi in Canada.

The miniseries, produced by Eleven, will be available to stream on Hulu with either limited commercials or commercial free, depending on subscription plan, starting today.
