TEN to Air Wake in Fright as Two-Part Event

The psychological thriller Wake in Fright is gearing up to launch as a two-part event on TEN and WIN Network in Australia.

Written by Australian journalist and novelist Kenneth Cook, the classic 1961 novel has been adapted for television. TEN’s contemporary interpretation centers on a dangerous string of events, set in motion in the eerie outback town of Bundanyabba, or the Yabba as it is dubbed by locals.

Featuring Sean Keenan (Glitch, Puberty Blues) as John Grant, Wake in Fright has an all-star cast that includes David Wenham (Lion, Top of the Lake, Lord of the Rings) as Jock Crawford, Alex Dimitriades (The Slap, Underbelly) as Evan “Doc” Tydonas, Caren Pistorius (Offspring) as Janette Hynes, Gary Sweet (House Husbands, Police Rescue) as Tim Hynes and Robyn Malcolm (Upper Middle Bogan, Rake) as Ursula Hynes.
