ABC has renewed The Good Doctor for season six and The Rookie for season five for the 2022-23 season.

Niecy Nash (Reno 9-1-1, Claws) is to guest star in two embedded pilot episodes of the ABC police drama The Rookie from Entertainment One (eOne) and ABC Signature.

Entertainment One (eOne) has licensed the hit police drama The Rookie into more than 180 territories worldwide, including recent sales to WOWOW in Japan and TV 2 in Norway.

The police procedural The Rookie, starring Nathan Fillion (Castle), has been licensed by Entertainment One (eOne) to over 160 territories globally, including the U.K., Italy and across Latin America.
