BBC One and BBC iPlayer have slated the return of Silent Witness for early 2025, with Maggie Steed (Paddington 2, Rivals) and Francesca Mills (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Worzel Gummidge) joining the cast.

The BBC has renewed Silent Witness for a further two seasons, taking it to its landmark 25th, though two series regulars have left the show.
