All3Media International has secured a raft of international acquisitions for SISTER’s Better across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America and the U.S.

ZDF Studios has licensed The Swarm to the Foxtel Group, which will launch the series in Australia in June on Foxtel and BINGE.

A new multiyear partnership will supply Foxtel Group with more than 500 hours of exclusive international drama programming from Walter Presents, to be made available to watch on-demand on Foxtel and stream on BINGE.

Foxtel has lined up the new original series The Twelve, to be produced in partnership with Warner Bros. International Television Australia and Spirit Pictures.

Foxtel has commissioned a further 20 episodes of the Australian prison drama Wentworth, an order that will see the series remain on air until 2021.

Foxtel has secured a multiyear deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution that includes series such as Castle Rock and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists.

FX has placed a series order for Mr Inbetween, a half-hour Australian drama series created by and starring Scott Ryan.

The thriller series Sharp Objects, based on the novel of the same name by best-selling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl), is set to premiere on Australia's Foxtel in July.

Production has begun on a seventh season of the Australian drama series Wentworth, which is slated to premiere in 2019 on Foxtel's showcase channel.

Showcase in Australia is being positioned as a drama “super channel,” featuring a slate of Foxtel originals and exclusive, first-run titles express from the U.S., including a raft of FX original series.
