STARZ has cast guest roles for its new series Gaslit, focusing on the untold stories and forgotten characters of the Watergate scandal.

Nate Corddry (For All Mankind, Mindhunter), Amy Landecker (Transparent, The Handmaid’s Tale), Lauren E. Banks (City on a Hill, Maniac), Ahna O’Reilly (Where the Crawdads Sing, The Morning Show), Beth Hall (Mad Men, Mom) and Bill Duke (No Sudden Move, Black Lightning) have joined as guest stars.

Created and executive produced by Robbie Pickering (Mr. Robot, Search Party, Natural Selection), Gaslit centers on Martha Mitchell (Julia Roberts), a celebrity Arkansan socialite and wife to Nixon’s Attorney General (Sean Penn), who was the first person to publicly sound the alarm on Nixon’s involvement. The guest stars will fulfill a variety of roles, from a campaign official to a Watergate night security manager.

Along with Pickering, Matt Ross (Captain Fantastic, 28 Hotel Rooms) will direct and executive produce. Other executive producers are Sam Esmail (Homecoming, Mr. Robot), via his overall deal with UCP, and Chad Hamilton (HomecomingMr. Robot) under their production banner Esmail Corp; Roberts under her banner Red Om Films, alongside co-executive producers Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill; and Anonymous Content and Slate’s Gabriel Roth and Josh Levin. Gaslit is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.

The series will air on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on its STARZPLAY platform across Europe, Latin America and Japan.
