Efrain Miron has joined the entertainment group SISTER as president of strategy and business affairs.

In the newly created role, Miron will work closely with Cindy Holland, global CEO, along with Elisabeth Murdoch and Jane Featherstone, co-founders, on the company’s growth strategy. This includes the production and distribution of films and series, as well as investments and partnerships around the world.

Miron will establish the strategic direction across the SISTER group, focusing on the U.S. studio and portfolio companies.

Miron most recently served as VP of business and legal affairs at Netflix. He joined Netflix as one of the company’s first employees dedicated to its original programming efforts and led business affairs for a variety of divisions. Throughout his 9-year tenure there, Miron spearheaded negotiations for projects such as The Crown and Wednesday.

“I couldn’t be more excited to work across the various growing initiatives at SISTER and join Cindy, Liz and Jane on this journey,” said Miron. “It’s a privilege to help drive SISTER’s strategic priorities and steer the company’s negotiations in this new role, with creativity and partnership as the bedrock. Cindy is a truly inspiring leader, and I’m thrilled to reunite with her after many years together at Netflix.”

Holland said, “We are honored to welcome Efrain and add his unique and considerable talents to SISTER. Efrain is deeply strategic, sharply analytical and a great leader and collaborator. It’s a true pleasure to work with him, and I feel very fortunate to have him on a team with me once again.”
