Showtime has ordered a sixth season of the drama series Billions, starring Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis.

Season five of Billions will return with five new episodes in 2021, with season six to follow. Golden Globe nominee Corey Stoll (House of Cards), who joined to guest star as Mike Prince in season five, has signed on to return as a series regular for season six.

In season five of Billions, the rivalry between Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) is reignited, while new enemies emerge. Mike Prince, a social impact pioneer, poses a threat to Axe’s dominance, as Chuck faces off against a district attorney (Roma Maffia). Meanwhile, Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon) is forced back to Axe Capital to fight to protect their employees and their assets and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) reevaluates her loyalties and forges surprising new alliances.

The cast also includes Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), who plays Ivy League sociology professor and bestselling author Catherine Brant, as well as David Costabile, Condola Rashad, Kelly AuCoin and Jeffrey DeMunn.
