Scripted Lines Up New Keynotes, Buyers & Commissioners

NEW YORK: Carlton Cuse (The Strain, Colony) and Entertainment One Television’s John Morayniss are set to deliver keynotes at the upcoming Scripted event, which has also amassed a slew of new buyers and commissioners for its 30 Minutes With session.

Cuse, whose recent writing and showrunning credits include The Strain (FX), Bates Motel (A&E) and Colony (USA), will take part in a keynote conversation on Monday, November 9, at 4:15 p.m. in the Manhattan Skyline Ballroom at the Park Central Hotel.

The keynote with Morayniss, the CEO of Entertainment One Television, will take place Tuesday, November 10, at 10 a.m., also in the Manhattan Skyline Ballroom.

The opening keynote will be delivered by Charlie Collier, the president of AMC and SundanceTV, on Monday, November 9, at 10 a.m.

Scripted will also play host to the networking series 30 Minutes With, in which scripted buyers and commissioners will discuss their programming strategies, future plans and priorities. That lineup includes Nicole Clemens of FX Networks, Jocelyn Diaz from EPIX, Christian Drobnyk of Lifetime, ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland’s Koby Gal-Raday, Sky’s Anne Mensah and Rachel Nelson of Shaw Media. Also taking part are BBC America’s Nena Rodrigue, YouTube’s Timothy Shey, RTL Television’s Philipp Steffens, Quinn Taylor of NBC Entertainment, SundanceTV’s Christian Vesper and Amazon Studios’ Morgan Wandell.

“Scripted was designed to bring together content creators and international co-pro partners for two days of high-level networking, inspiration and business development,” said Claire Macdonald, executive producer. “I’m tremendously proud of the caliber of the speakers and the program, which has attracted an impressive roster of delegates from 12 countries.”

Scripted is taking place November 9 and 10 in New York City.
