Ryan Murphy’s The Beauty to Debut on Disney+ in January

FX’s The Beauty, a new thriller from executive producer Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story, Monster, Grotesquerie), is slated to premiere on January 22 on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.

The thriller sees the high fashion world turn dark when international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways. The cast includes Evan Peters, Rebecca Hall, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos and Jeremy Pope, among others.

Peters and Hall star as FBI agents sent to Paris to uncover the truth behind the models’ deaths. As they delve deeper, they uncover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection, but with terrifying consequences. They are led to “The Corporation,” a shadowy tech billionaire who has secretly engineered a miracle drug and will do anything to protect his trillion-dollar empire.

Guest stars include Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher and Vincent D’Onofrio.

The Beauty is created and written by Murphy and Matthew Hodgson. Executive producers are Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pop, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Michael Uppendahl, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Gitter, Peter Schwerin and Jeremy Haun. It is based on the comic book series written by Haun and Jason A. Hurley, who serves as a consultant. The series is produced by 20th Television.
