Ryan Kwanten Joins The Oath

True Blood alum Ryan Kwanten has joined the cast of Crackle’s upcoming original drama The Oath and will serve as a producer on the show.

Executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television outfit, The Oath is set to premiere on the OTT platform in 2018. Crackle recently announced that Sean Bean will lead the cast as Tom Hammond, the leader of a cop gang. Kwanten plays Steve Hammond, Tom’s son.

The show was created by Joe Halpin, who worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in South Central for 17 years. Halpin is a writer on the series and the showrunner, and is exec producing alongside Jackson and Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim of Storied Media Group.
