Riverdale Lands Early Renewal at The CW

BURBANK: The CW Network has given an early renewal to its freshman drama Riverdale for the 2017-18 season.

Based on the characters from Archie Comics, Riverdale has been posting strong rating gains on a competitive Thursday night on a delayed viewing basis, particularly with a young-skewing audience. It is also one of the most streamed shows on The CW’s digital platforms.

Riverdale is from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions.
