Red Arrow Studios International Bolsters Drama Slate

Red Arrow Studios International is building out its drama catalog, acquiring rights to a trio of scripted series from Germany and Russia.

German producer Redseven Entertainment’s first original drama commission, The Friedmanns, joins the Red Arrow Studios International catalog. The German-language series stars Tom Beck (Alarm für Cobra 11, You Are Wanted, Einstein) and centers on a family beset by tragedy but determined to rebuild their lives.

Also joining the slate, Mental is written by Andrey Zolotarev (Sputnik, Ice, Trigger, Master) and directed by Aleksandr Dulerayn (Olga) and Klim Kozinskiy. The dark comedy-drama is about a murder mystery, the mafia and the myriad voices in one man’s head.

Call Center is a thriller that sees a group of co-workers fight for their lives when taken hostage by unknown evil assailants. It is written and directed by Natasha Merkulova (Intimate Parts, Captain Volkonogov Escaped, Аnna К) and Aleksey Chupov (Intimate Parts, Captain Volkonogov Escaped, Аnna К).

Red Arrow Studios International is handling sales worldwide, excluding Russia and CIS for Mental, and excluding Russia, CIS and North America for Call Center.
