Production Begins on Bridgerton Season Three

Netflix and Shondaland have begun production on Bridgerton’s third season, with Jess Brownell taking over as showrunner.

The new season will focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). When Colin returns from his summer travels, he is disheartened to find that Penelope is giving him the cold shoulder and has moved on from her long-held crush.

Daniel Francis (Stay Close), Sam Phillips (The Crown) and James Phoon (Wreck) are joining the cast for season three. Executive producers are Brownell, Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica and Chris Van Dusen.
