Patrick Wilson to Star in Stephen King’s In the Tall Grass for Netflix

Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring franchise, Aquaman, Fargo TV series) has been cast in Netflix’s In the Tall Grass, based on a novella written by Stephen King and his son Joe Hill.

In the Tall Grass began as a short story first published in Esquire magazine. The Netflix project was adapted and is being directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice, Westworld). Filming began last week in Toronto, and Netflix will release In the Tall Grass worldwide in 2019.

The cast also includes Laysla De Oliveira (Needle In a Timestack, Code 8), Harrison Gilbertson (Upgrade, Picnic at Hanging Rock), Avery Whitted (Sidney Hall), Rachel Wilson (Backstabbers for Beginners, Impulse) and Will Buie Jr. (Bunk’d).

This marks Netflix’s third film with King, following Gerald’s Game and 1922.
