Keshet International (KI) has notched up presales for Keshet Studios and HBO’s limited drama series Our Boys.

Coinciding with its U.S. debut on HBO—with two episodes back-to-back on August 12, followed by individual episodes on subsequent Mondays—HBO Latin America will simulcast Our Boys in the Caribbean before rolling out the series throughout Latin America. HBO Europe plans to premiere the series in Spain, Portugal, the Nordics, Baltics and CEE from August 13.

Filmed in Israel and created by Hagai Levi, Joseph Cedar and Tawfik Abu-Wael, Our Boys is based on true events that led to the outbreak of war in Gaza. The series follows the investigation of Muhammad Abu Khdeir’s murder and tells the story of all those involved, Jews and Arabs alike, whose lives were forever changed by these events.

Ragnhild Thorbech, senior VP of acquisitions and programming at HBO Europe, said, “HBO Europe is thrilled to bring this event series to all our territories, it is a truly gripping drama inspired by real events that has not been told before.”
