Normal People Notches Up Global Deals

Normal People, based on Sally Rooney’s New York Times best-selling novel, has landed a slew of global sales, including with StarzPlay.

StarzPlay picked up the drama for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Benelux, Latin America and Japan. Fox Life licensed rights for Greece, Cyprus and Malta. Further sales have been signed in Australia (Stan), Canada (CBC Gem), Denmark (DR Denmark), Iceland (Siminn), Ireland (RTÉ), Finland (YLE), New Zealand (TVNZ), Norway (NRK), Russia and CIS (Kinopoisk) and Sweden (SVT).

Endeavor Content landed this latest raft of deals on Normal People, which premiered on BBC Three on April 26, BBC One on April 27 and on Hulu on April 29.
