Apple TV+ is set to premiere the new genre-bending thriller Calls, starring Nick Jonas, Lily Collins and Pedro Pascal.

Based on the Canal+ French series of the same name created by Timothée Hochet, Calls uses audio and minimal abstract visuals to tell nine short-form stories. Directed by Fede Álvarez, each episode follows a darkly dramatic mystery that unfolds through a series of seemingly average, unconnected phone calls that quickly become surreal, as the characters face growingly unsettling experiences. Calls will premiere globally on March 19.

In addition to Jonas, Collins and Pascal, Calls stars Nicholas Braun (Succession), Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption), Rosario Dawson (Jane the Virgin), Mark Duplass (The Morning Show), Karen Gillan (Avengers: Endgame), Judy Greer (Halloween), Paul Walter Hauser (Cobra Kai), Danny Huston (Children of Men), Riley Keough (The Girlfriend Experience), Joey King (The Act), Stephen Lang (Avatar), Jaeden Martell (Defending Jacob), Paola Nuñez (Bad Boys for Life), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation), Danny Pudi (Mythic Quest), Ben Schwartz (House of Lies), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Tenet) and Jennifer Tilly (Family Guy).

Calls is an Apple original series in association with Canal+, produced with Studiocanal and Bad Hombre. A French-language version of the series will premiere on Canal+ in select markets, where Canal+ is available. In select Spanish-speaking Latin America markets, Apple TV+ will premiere the series under the title Llamadas.
