New Korean Crime Thriller Set for Disney+

The Korean crime thriller Shadow Detective, a Star original series, is slated to debut exclusively on Disney+ in October.

The series centers on an accomplished detective who awakens to find himself falsely accused of murder. He is then blackmailed into reinvestigating his former cases in the hope of clearing his name.

Shadow Detective stars Lee Seongmin (Juvenile Justice, Missing), Jin Gu (Descendants of the Sun, The Witch: Part 2), Gyeong Sujin (Mouse, Train) and Lee Hakju (The World of the Married, My Name). Produced by Studio Dragon, it is directed by Han Donghwa (Navillera, Squad 38).
