Race, a new Korean workplace drama written by Kim Roori (Hyena, The Ace), is slated to premiere on May 10 on Disney+.

The series centers on Park Yoonjo, who has spent her entire career trying to prove that she belongs, making up for her lack of formal education with her strong work ethic. When everyone at her new company learns that the recent hires were part of a diversity program, Yoonjo must work even harder to prove she earned her place.

Race stars Lee Yeonhee (New Year Blues, Welcome to Wedding Hell), Moon Sori (The Handmaiden, Seoul Vibe), Hong Jonghyun (Moon Lovers) and Jung Yunho (Dating on Earth). It is directed by Lee Dongyoon (She Would Never Know, 20th Century Boy and Girl).

The series was first announced as part of an expanded slate of local AsiaPac content at the 2022 Disney Content Showcase. Race joins a slew of Korean titles already available on Disney+, including Call it Love, Soundtrack #1 and Big Bet.
