My Family, a new ten-part Japanese thriller series starring Kazunari Ninomiya (Letters from Iwo Jima, Killing for the Prosecution), is slated to debut on May 25 on Disney+.

The series centers on a startup founder and CEO who, despite his incredible success and fortune, feels empty and distant from his family. When his daughter is suddenly kidnapped and the police make a grave error that puts everyone at further risk, he works together with his wife to pursue the kidnappers.

Mikako Tabe (Piece of Cake, Watashi no Kaseifu Nagisa-San) stars alongside Ninomiya.

My Family joins Disney+’s upcoming Japanese lineup, which also includes Black Rock Shooter Dawn Fall (premiering May 25) and Gannibal.
