Tokyo Swindlers, a seven-part crime thriller based on Ko Shinjo’s novel of the same name, is slated to debut on Netflix on July 25.

The series centers on a group of real estate swindlers who fight back against the soaring prices in Tokyo. As they carry out their biggest con yet—a 10 billion-yen scam—they target the owners and major developers who want to repurpose the land, while evading the police who are hot on their tails.

Hitoshi One (Moteki, Elpis) directed and scripted the series, which is produced by Nikkatsu Corporation, Booster Project and Netflix.

The cast includes Go Ayano (Yu Yu Hakusho, Let’s Go Karaoke!, A Family), Etsushi Toyokawa (Baian the Assassin, M.D. 1 & 2, Kingdom2: Far and Away), Kazuki Kitamura, Eiko Koike, Pierre Taki, Shota Sometani, Anthony, Izumi Matsuoka, Kaito Yoshimura, Satoru Matsuo, Taro Suruga, Makita Sports, Koji Yamamoto, Elaiza Ikeda and Lily Franky.
