Netflix Renews You for a Fourth Season

Netflix has renewed its hit series You, which saw its third season launch today, for a fourth season.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ books You and Hidden Bodies, the series follows Joe Goldberg, who will do just about anything for love. The fourth season will be produced by Berlanti Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television.

The newly launched third season sees Joe and Love, now married with a baby, grapple with suburban life.

You is executive produced by showrunner Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti, along with Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, David Madden, Gina Girolamo, John Scott, Neil Reynolds, Michael Foley and Justin Lo.

Gamble said: “Reading Caroline’s novels, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted worldview. And it’s been thrilling to watch Penn [Badgley] bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life. We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past three seasons. The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season four.”
