Netflix Picks Up Israeli Thriller Fauda

LOS GATOS: Netflix has acquired the Israeli political thriller Fauda, which it will stream as an original series.

The series, from co-creators Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, will become available to Netflix subscribers in 130 countries starting December 2. The drama will air in Hebrew and Arabic, with English subtitles.

The second season, now in production, has also been bought by Netflix. Fauda was the most-watched series in the history of the Israeli satellite channel YES.
