Netflix has renewed The Night Agent for a third season, ahead of the second season’s winter 2025 premiere.

Season one saw low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland do his best to save the president, earning him a spot as a Night Agent in season two. Production on season three is set to begin in Istanbul at the end of 2024 before filming in New York in 2025.

The Night Agent is based on the novel by Matthew Quirk and is produced by Sony Pictures Television. It is created by showrunner and executive producer Shawn Ryan (The Shield, S.W.A.T.) with MiddKid Productions.

Executive producers of season two are Marney Hochman, Paul Bernard, Munis Rashid, Guy Ferland, Exhibit A Films: Seth Gordon, Julia Gunn, Project X Entertainment: David Beaubaire, Paul Neinstein, William Sherak, Nicole Tossou and James Vanderbilt.

“We’re so excited that our fans will get to watch season two of The Night Agent in early 2025, and we’ve been hard at work writing season three to deliver more breathless Peter Sutherland Night Action adventures to our rabid audience,” Ryan said.
